Hornady
The Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension Die Seater Stem for 243 caliber is a precision replacement component built for reloaders who demand consistency and care about their bullets. If you're running Hornady Custom Grade dies and loading 6mm A-MAX projectiles, this seater stem is engineered to seat your bullets with the precision they need without risking damage in the process. Hornady machines these stems to match the specific profile of A-MAX bullets, so you get reliable, repeatable bullet seating every single time you use your press.
Reloading is as much about protecting your investment in quality ammunition components as it is about achieving tight groups. A generic seating stem won't account for the A-MAX's unique shape, which means you risk bullet deformation or inconsistent seating depth—both of which hurt accuracy and can compromise safety. This Custom Grade stem eliminates that guesswork. It's designed to work exclusively with Hornady Custom Grade dies, so compatibility is straightforward: if you're already running Hornady dies, this is a drop-in solution.
Whether you're working on a bench rifle load, precision hunting ammo, or match-grade cartridges, having the right seater stem makes the difference between frustrating setups and smooth, confident reloading sessions. Keep one on hand as a spare, or upgrade to the A-MAX profile if you've recently switched bullet brands and your existing stem no longer fits properly.

You receive the seater stem itself. You'll install it into your existing Hornady Custom Grade die body.
