The Hornady American Gunner .357 Magnum 125 Grain XTP JHP is a centerfire handgun round built for hunters, sport shooters, and those carrying for self-defense. Hornady's American Gunner line draws on generations of ballistics expertise to deliver consistent, reliable performance in a mid-power magnum platform. The 125-grain XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) bullet has earned its reputation across decades of use in hunting, law enforcement, and competition—a proven design that balances accuracy with terminal effectiveness in the field or at the range.

What sets these loads apart is attention to the fundamentals: matched propellants dialed in for each specific load, quality primers, and Hornady-manufactured cases all working together to minimize variation shot-to-shot and lot-to-lot. That consistency matters whether you're zeroing a hunting revolver, practicing defensive drills, or working up loads for precision shooting. Made in the USA, these rounds bring no-nonsense reliability to a cartridge that's been a standard in .357 Magnum rifles and handguns for generations.

A 25-round box gives you enough to pattern a load or work through a range session without breaking the bank. If you run a .357 Magnum—whether it's a lever gun, a service revolver, or a semi-auto carbine—American Gunner ammunition offers the kind of straightforward performance and consistency that builds confidence in your shooting.
