If you reload 7mm Rem Mag, the quality of your brass matters as much as your powder charge and primer selection. Hornady 8640 unprimed rifle brass cases give you a foundation built for repeatable, accurate loads. This is 50-count bulk brass engineered to the tight tolerances serious reloaders demand—the kind where every case in the box behaves like its neighbor, so your velocity spreads stay tight and your groups stay small.

Hornady builds their brass around three principles that separate it from commodity casings: concentricity that keeps bullets seated true in both the case and chamber, uniform wall thickness across each case that benchrest shooters have relied on for decades, and manufacturing consistency that means case weight and capacity remain virtually identical lot to lot. The result is that these cases survive multiple reloading cycles, putting more rounds downrange before you need to retire them.

Whether you're a precision rifle hunter working up loads for a magnum hunt, a competitive shooter chasing sub-MOA groups, or someone who simply refuses to compromise on reloading components, unprimed 7mm Rem Mag brass from Hornady removes variables from your process. Buy with confidence knowing you're starting with cases that respect your time and ammunition budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Hornady brass and standard brass?

Hornady manufactures to extremely tight tolerances on concentricity and case wall thickness. This consistency means that every case in a box behaves identically, which translates to tighter velocity spreads and better accuracy when you're precision loading. The cases also last longer through multiple reloading cycles.

Do these cases come with primers?

No—these are unprimed cases. You'll select and install your own primers as part of your reloading process.

How many times can I reload 7mm Rem Mag brass?

Hornady brass is designed for multiple reloads. The exact number depends on your loads, case care, and inspection practices, but Hornady cases are built to maximize the number of times you can safely reload them.

Is this brass suitable for hunting and precision rifle work?

Yes. The tight tolerances and consistency that Hornady builds into their brass serve both hunters developing magnum hunting loads and precision shooters working toward tight groups.
