Hornady
Hornady's 6mm GT Match ammunition with 109-grain ELD Match bullets is purpose-built for precision rifle shooters who demand consistency at the range and in competition. Whether you're working up loads, testing rifle potential, or competing in long-range matches, this ammunition combines careful component selection with stringent quality control to deliver the accuracy and shot-to-shot uniformity that separate good shooting from great shooting.
Every round starts with Hornady's proprietary ELD Match bullet, engineered with a Heat Shield tip that maintains a precise meplat—the nose geometry that directly influences ballistic coefficient and downrange performance. The bullet jacket is manufactured using Hornady's AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) to ensure consistency that shows up on target. Each case is hand-selected for wall thickness, internal capacity, and concentricity; powder is matched precisely to this specific load for optimal pressure and velocity. The result is ammunition that minimizes vertical and horizontal stringing, so your groups reflect your skill and your rifle's capability, not ammunition variables.
This is match-grade ammunition in the truest sense: loaded to exacting specifications with lot-to-lot consistency tight enough that you won't have to re-zero between boxes or chase velocity trends throughout a shooting session. If your shooting demands are serious—whether that's PRS competition, load development, or verification testing—Hornady's commitment to uniformity and quality control means you're spending your practice ammo budget on improving your shooting, not compensating for ammunition variables.

Yes. This is match-grade ammunition designed with the precision and consistency required for precision rifle competitions and serious long-range shooting where shot-to-shot repeatability directly impacts accuracy.
The ELD Match bullet features Hornady's Heat Shield tip, which maintains a precise meplat geometry for superior ballistic performance and consistency compared to traditional hollow-point match bullets. The bullet jacket is made using Hornady's AMP process for exceptional uniformity.
Hornady's stringent lot-to-lot quality control minimizes velocity and pressure variations, so you should not need to re-zero between boxes of this ammunition under normal shooting conditions.
