Hogue
The Hogue Ruger Model 77 MKII stock for short-action standard barrels brings the proven comfort and durability of Hogue grips to your rifle platform. Built on an overmolded construction method, this stock pairs a rigid fiberglass-reinforced core with Hogue's signature rubber exterior coating—the same material trusted on tens of thousands of pistol grips. The result is a stock that's genuinely comfortable to handle, resists slip in variable conditions, and delivers the kind of fit and finish you'd expect from a purpose-built replacement stock rather than an aftermarket band-aid.
Designed specifically for the Ruger 77 MKII short-action platform with standard barrels, this stock features a straight comb and palm swells that work for hunters and shooters across different grip sizes. The forend is finished with a distinctive "Cobblestone" texture that improves control and reduces glare. Aluminum pillar bedding comes standard, ensuring consistent action-to-stock contact that supports accuracy and reliability over thousands of rounds. A recoil pad is included to manage centerfire rifle recoil.
Whether you're rebuilding a hunting rifle, upgrading a target gun, or restoring a Ruger 77 MKII to factory specifications with modern materials, this stock delivers the kind of fit and ergonomic confidence that makes a difference in the field or on the range.
