Higdon Decoys
The Higdon Outdoors Magnum Feeder Mallard Decoys 4-pack brings realistic, durable mallards to your floating spread. This mixed set pairs two drake butt decoys with two feeding mallards—the classic combination for drawing birds into your zone. Oversized and foam-filled, these mallards are built to take repeated shooting and handled rough in the field without cracking or denting. The detailed carving mimics natural feather patterns and postures, and Higdon's UV paint process resists the fading and peeling that plague cheaper decoys after a season or two.
What sets these apart is attention to subtle details that matter when mallards are close. The proprietary XHD Hyper-Feathering carving highlights individual feather groups, reducing the unnatural shine that spooks wary birds—especially important when decoys are wet. The weighted keel makes deployment fast and keeps the rig stable in currents, and the short-stringing design minimizes tangling when you pack them back in the truck. As an official Ducks Unlimited licensed product, a portion of your purchase supports wetland conservation.
Whether you're setting up a small pond spread or rounding out a larger rig on a river, this four-pack gives you a proven feeder dynamic without the cost of buying singles. The drake butts and skimmers work together to create the natural feeding posture that tells incoming birds the zone is safe.
