Henry Repeating Arms
The Henry Big Boy Side Gate lever action rifle in .44 Mag/.44 Special is a modern take on a classic American design, built for hunters and shooters who value tradition without sacrificing practical features. This 20-inch octagon-barrel rifle combines the smooth, reliable lever action that made Henry famous with a convenient side-loading gate—no more fussing with a loading tube. Whether you're hunting large game, working steel at the range, or adding a collector's piece to your safe, the Big Boy delivers the accuracy and handling that define Henry's reputation.
The .44 Mag/.44 Special pairing gives you versatility: load magnum rounds for power and reach, or drop in .44 Special ammunition for softer recoil and lower noise in the same rifle. The 10-round capacity and crisp lever action make follow-ups instinctive, while the polished hardened brass receiver and semi-fancy walnut stock make this rifle as handsome as it is functional. Drilled and tapped for scope mounting and equipped with a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front, you can shoot it straight out of the box or customize it to your preference.
At 8.68 pounds and 38.5 inches overall, the Big Boy handles well from bench or field. The 14-inch length of pull fits most shooters comfortably, and the transfer bar safety keeps the gun secure during handling and carry. Limited to 1,000 units with receiver and barrel band engraving, this is a rifle that respects the lever-action heritage while addressing real-world shooting needs.
