Henry Repeating Arms
The Henry Mare's Leg H006GML is a lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Magnum/.44 Special—a uniquely compact firearm that bridges the gap between a handgun and a rifle. With its 12.9-inch octagon barrel and 25-inch overall length, this side-gate lever action delivers rifle ballistics in a package that handles like an oversized revolver. It's built for shooters who want something different: a tack-driving range gun, a collector's piece, or a conversation starter at the range.
The Mare's Leg earned its reputation as a specialty rifle, and Henry's execution here reflects that spirit. The action is smooth lever-operated, with a 5-round capacity fed through a convenient side-loading gate. The octagon barrel is blued steel, the receiver is polished hardened brass, and the stock is American walnut—details that give it classic character while the transfer-bar safety keeps things modern. A large-loop lever and saddle ring complete the nostalgic aesthetic without sacrificing function.
Sights come set up for quick shooting: a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with diamond insert and a brass bead front. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounting (BB-RSM mount included), so if you want to upgrade optics, the platform supports it. At 5.79 pounds, it's light enough to carry all day yet substantial enough to shoot with authority. This is a rifle for the shooter who refuses to blend in—and the .44 Magnum chambering ensures genuine stopping power in a package no one else is carrying.

It appeals to shooters who want a compact, unique firearm for range use or collecting—especially those who appreciate lever-action rifles but need something smaller than a traditional hunting rifle. The .44 Magnum/.44 Special chambering gives it real stopping power in a package that stands out.
Yes. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and it comes with a BB-RSM scope mount included. This allows you to upgrade from iron sights if you prefer a magnified optic for range work.
It features a side-loading gate, which means you load rounds directly into the magazine tube through a gate on the side of the receiver—a convenient, intuitive method that's faster than loading through a traditional loading port.
The Henry Mare's Leg ships with the rifle, iron sights installed, and the BB-RSM scope mount. Always refer to the manufacturer's documentation for a complete list of what's included.
