Henry Repeating Arms
If you're running a Henry Big Boy or Golden Boy lever action rifle and want to mount a scope, you need the right foundation—and that's where the Henry Big Boy/Golden Boy cantilever scope mount comes in. This precision-fit mount is engineered specifically for Henry's modern lever guns, giving you a solid, repeatable platform for optics that'll keep zero through years of hunting and shooting. Whether you're threading a rifle through thick timber or setting up for accurate shots at distance, a quality scope mount is where accuracy starts.
Henry designed these mounts to work with rifles that come drilled and tapped from the factory. The Golden Boy and first-generation Big Boy models are tapped under the rear sight, while current-production (second-generation) Big Boys feature top-of-receiver tapping—so it's critical to confirm your rifle's generation before ordering. Henry provides a serial number reference table to help you identify which version you own. Once you've got the right mount, installation is straightforward with clear instructions included in the package.
The cantilever design positions your optic forward on the receiver for optimal sight picture and handling. The mount accepts standard Weaver-style detachable rings (sold separately), giving you flexibility to pair it with your choice of scope and ring height. This modular approach means you can swap optics or rings without losing your zero, a real convenience when you're testing different setups or moving between hunting seasons.

No. Henry rifles come factory drilled and tapped for this mount, so installation is straightforward. Complete instructions are included in the packaging.
Not all Henry lever guns require one. Original H001 series rifles have a 3/8-inch groove on the receiver that accommodates standard scope rings directly. H004 Golden Boy, H006 Big Boy, and H005 Mini Bolt models are drilled and tapped for this cantilever mount.
