The Weaver #46 Top Mount Base is a gloss-finished precision scope mount designed to deliver rock-solid accuracy on a wide variety of classic and modern rifles. If you're mounting a scope on a vintage Winchester, Savage, Weatherby, or Mauser, or restoring an older sporting rifle to service, this top-mount base gives you the rock-solid platform that separates reliable shooting from frustration. Weaver's engineering centers on tight machining tolerances and a square-cut notch design that locks squarely into the cross bolt of every Weaver detachable ring—the result is zero play and consistent return to zero, shot after shot.

This base is built to absorb recoil without slipping or shifting. The gloss finish is durable and designed to hold up to field use while maintaining a clean, traditional appearance that suits both hunting rifles and range guns. Because the base is a permanent fixture on your rifle, Weaver machines each one to close tolerances to ensure a custom fit that pairs seamlessly with your specific rifle model.

Weaver #46 bases fit an extensive range of rifles spanning decades of manufacturing. Whether you're working with a Savage 110 series, Winchester 52, 54, or 70, a Weatherby Mark 5, or any of the other supported models listed below, you get the same precision engineering. This is the kind of foundation that lets you trust your optic setup in the field or on the bench.
