The Griffin Armament Optimus Micro Taper Mount Interface is the dedicated adapter that bridges your Griffin Taper Mount muzzle device to the Optimus Micro suppressor. If you've already invested in a Taper Mount muzzle brake or flash hider for your rimfire rifle, this interface lets you pair it with the compact Optimus Micro can—no need to swap hardware. It's built from 17-4 stainless steel with a black nitride finish for durability and corrosion resistance in the field or at the range.

The interface itself weighs just 2.5 ounces and works with all Griffin Taper Mount muzzle devices, regardless of thread pitch. That means whether you're running a standard or extended configuration, this adapter handles the connection seamlessly. It's purpose-built for the Optimus Micro only, so verify you're pairing it with the correct suppressor before ordering.

A critical note: the Optimus Micro is rated for .22 caliber use only. Mounting it on a 30-caliber Taper Mount device or firing rifle cartridges larger than .22 will damage the suppressor. If you're mixing calibers or unsure of your setup, confirm your barrel is .22 before proceeding. This interface is not compatible with other Griffin suppressors—it's exclusive to the Optimus Micro platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this interface work with my existing Taper Mount muzzle device?

Yes—the interface is designed to fit all Griffin Taper Mount muzzle devices, regardless of thread pitch. As long as you have a Griffin Taper Mount brake, flash hider, or similar device, this adapter will connect it to your Optimus Micro suppressor.

Can I use the Optimus Micro on a caliber larger than .22?

No. The Optimus Micro is rated for .22 caliber only. Mounting it on a 30-caliber Taper Mount firearm or using it with rifle cartridges larger than .22 will cause irreversible damage to the suppressor. Verify your barrel is .22 before assembly.

What other Griffin suppressors is this interface compatible with?

This interface is made exclusively for the Optimus Micro suppressor and will not fit any other Griffin can. If you own a different Griffin suppressor, you will need a different adapter.

Does this come with any other parts or hardware?

Only the interface adapter itself is included. You will need your existing Griffin Taper Mount muzzle device and an Optimus Micro suppressor to complete your setup.
