Griffin Armament
The Griffin Armament Optimus 7 Utility Mount in Flat Dark Earth is a modern .30-caliber suppressor built on 3D-printed technology to deliver low back pressure without sacrificing flash control—a combination that's genuinely rare in the suppressor market. Unlike traditional designs, the Optimus 7 uses an additive-manufactured baffle core engineered to maximize gas flow, reducing system back pressure while the quad-tine flash hider endcap—tuned specifically to work with that low back pressure stack—kills muzzle flash at a level you won't find in many competing cans. If you run a .308 WIN, .300 WM, or other .30-caliber rifle and want to shoot suppressed without the sluggish feel of a high-backpressure can, this is worth a hard look.
The build itself is no compromise: 17-4 H900 stainless steel throughout, with the printed core machined smooth during post-production to eliminate the grainy appearance of raw additive parts. The blast shield and mount system are machined in-house and laser-welded to the baffle core, meaning Griffin can easily service or warranty the suppressor if you ever face a baffle strike. The Utility Mount version ships in FDE Cerakote and runs on a HUB 1.375" 24 TPI connection—but note that you'll need to source your own muzzle device and HUB insert separately; they don't come in the box.
Griffin backs every suppressor with a Perpetual Lifetime Warranty, no asterisks. The Optimus 7 is rated for full-auto fire, measuring 1.73 inches in diameter and delivering -32.9 dB of sound reduction on a 16-inch .308 (135.9 dB overall on M118LR ammo). If you're tired of generic suppressors and want something engineered for real-world rifle dynamics, the Optimus 7 Utility Mount steps up.

Yes. The Optimus 7 Utility Mount ships without a muzzle device or HUB insert. You'll need to purchase a compatible HUB-mount muzzle device and insert separately to complete the installation.
The Optimus 7 is optimized for .30-caliber rifles, including .308 WIN and .300 WM. It is rated for full-auto fire.
The Optimus 7's high gas flow baffle design reduces system back pressure compared to traditional suppressors, which means less felt recoil and more consistent gun handling. The quad-tine endcap is tuned specifically to work with this design, delivering impressive flash reduction without the sluggish cycling that high back pressure cans often create.
Yes. Griffin Armament covers every Optimus 7 suppressor under a Perpetual Lifetime Warranty, including baffle strikes and other catastrophic failures, thanks to the in-house laser-welded construction.
