Glock
The Glock KB17281 Field fixed blade knife brings proven Austrian military design to your backcountry kit, camp, or truck. Built around a 6.5-inch high carbon steel clip point blade with a saw-tooth spine, this is a serious utility blade for hunters, campers, and anyone who needs a dependable fixed knife for field work. The blade stock is treated with phosphate for corrosion resistance and hardened to HRC 55 for edge retention that handles splitting kindling, processing game, or cutting through heavy materials without folding or chipping.
What sets the Glock Field apart is its deliberate simplicity. There's no unnecessary handle length or aggressive jimping—just a one-piece molded polymer grip in black textured material that won't slip in wet conditions or gloved hands. The overall length sits at 11.4 inches, giving you enough reach for camp tasks without the weight penalty of a larger survival knife. The integrated retention system in the polymer sheath keeps the knife secure during active movement, whether you're bushwhacking, climbing in and out of a truck, or working around camp.
Austrian Army Rangers helped refine this design, and it shows: every feature exists because it works, not because it looks tactical. The clip point blade shape excels at detail work—precision cuts in leather, cordage, or food prep—while the spine's saw teeth handle the rough jobs. If you hunt, fish, camp, or spend time in the field, a fixed blade this straightforward earns its belt space. Glock's reputation for function-first gear translates directly to knives, and the KB17281 proves it.
