If you run an FN SCAR rifle platform and want a trigger that actually breaks clean instead of mushing through like factory spec, the Geissele Super SCAR Two-Stage Trigger is a purpose-built retrofit designed specifically for the FN SCAR 16 and SCAR 17. Geissele engineered this trigger to drop into the standard polymer trigger housing that comes on both rifles, making installation straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic gunsmithing. It's a non-adjustable, two-stage design that gives you a predictable break without the complexity of adjustable triggers or the premium of a competition match unit.

Two-stage triggers reward good technique: the first stage takes up slack, the second stage fires. On the SCAR platform, this translates to better control during rapid fire and improved shot placement when you're working targets at closer to mid ranges. Geissele built this trigger with CQB and mid-range shooting in mind, so if your SCAR sees duty at indoor ranges, force-on-force courses, or field work inside 300 yards, this trigger's deliberate break will help you stay on target. The matte finish resists wear and glare, and the kit ships with Aeroshell #6 lubricant to get you running smoothly out of the box.

The Super SCAR fits only FN's standard polymer trigger housing—if your rifle runs OEM housing, you're good. This is a rifle trigger for serious shooters who've outgrown factory performance and want a real upgrade without the learning curve of a tunable unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this trigger fit my FN SCAR?

The Geissele Super SCAR is designed as a drop-in retrofit for the FN SCAR 16 and SCAR 17, provided your rifle uses FN's standard polymer trigger housing. If you're running an unmodified SCAR with factory housing, this trigger will fit.

What is a two-stage trigger and why should I care?

A two-stage trigger has a distinct take-up followed by a crisp break. The first stage removes slack, the second stage fires the shot. This gives you better control and shot placement compared to a single-stage mushy break, especially during rapid or tactical shooting. Geissele engineered this one for CQB and mid-range work.

Is this an adjustable trigger?

No. The Geissele Super SCAR is a non-adjustable, fixed-geometry trigger. You install it and use it—there are no screws to turn or weights to dial. This means faster installation and no tuning curve to climb.

What comes in the box?

The trigger itself and a bottle of Aeroshell #6 lubricant to get your new trigger running smoothly right out of the package.
