The Geissele Super Precision MRO Mount is a precision optic mount engineered for shooters running a Trijicon MRO or compatible red dot sight. Built from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum—the same aircraft-grade alloy that defines modern fighting rifle components—this mount clamps your optic down with 1,400 pounds of force via Geissele's refined nut-and-bolt design. The lower 1/3 co-witness height positions your red dot above the bore while allowing iron sight use, making it a versatile choice for duty builds, tactical setups, or hunters who want optical backup without compromise.

Three shear lugs distribute stress across the mounting surface, designed to guarantee return to zero through rough handling and repeated deployment. Whether you're building an AR for competition, patrol, or backcountry hunting, a rigid, repeatable mount is non-negotiable—this one delivers the precision machining Geissele is known for, without the fuss.

Finished in black anodize, the mount is ready to bolt on and go. If you're pairing a quality red dot with a quality platform, your optic mount shouldn't be an afterthought.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount fit my Trijicon MRO?

Yes. The Super Precision MRO Mount was developed specifically for the Trijicon MRO and optics mounted in the same footprint.

What is lower 1/3 co-witness height?

Lower 1/3 co-witness positions your red dot at a height where your iron sights appear in the lower third of the optic's sight picture. This lets you use backup iron sights if needed while your primary optic remains dominant in your sight line.

How secure is the clamping force?

The mount delivers 1,400 pounds of clamping force and features three shear lugs to maintain rigidity and return to zero through recoil and rough handling.

What's this mount made from?

The mount is machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum, an aerospace-grade alloy known for strength and minimal deflection under stress.
