The Geissele Automatics Lower Third Co-Witness DDC Micro Mount is a precision optic mount purpose-built to secure Aimpoint T1 and similar micro red dot optics in the lower third co-witness position. This mount lets you run your T1-pattern sight at the ideal height for carbine or rifle shooting, keeping your sight picture cowitness with a standard A-frame front sight post—a practical setup for hunters and tactical shooters who want backup irons without sacrificing sight radius or ergonomics.

Built from a single-piece block of 7075-T6 aluminum, this mount is engineered for serious use. Geissele's reinforced nut-and-bolt attachment method clamps your optic with 1,400 pounds of clamping force, while three shear lugs resist torsional stress and lock your zero in place through recoil and handling. The DDC (Desert Dirt Color) Type 3 hard coat anodize finish matches modern tactical and hunting rifles, blending function with aesthetics while providing durable corrosion resistance.

Whether you're zeroing a precision optic for long-range hunting, building a duty carbine, or setting up a backup sight configuration, this lower third mount delivers the rigidity and repeatability Geissele is known for. If you prefer cowitness height over lower third, Geissele offers the standard co-witness variant. Both are available in DDC and black finishes.
