Forward Controls Design
The Forward Controls Design Sight Mount for Trijicon RMR footprint gives your Glock MOS slide a precision optics platform built to real combat standards. Designed in collaboration with a former USMC Shooting Team head coach, this steel adapter plate replaces Glock's factory MOS plate with a genuinely better execution of the same concept—full support for your red dot, zero unnecessary movement, and the uniform sight height that makes MOS worth adopting in the first place.
If you've run a Glock MOS setup, you know the factory plate works, but it feels like a starting point rather than a finished product. This mount addresses that. The design keeps your RMR fully cradled front and rear with integral recoil lugs so there's no play, uses the correct length screws (Torx fasteners, because that matters), and eliminates the need for an extra sealer plate. It maintains the standard MOS plate thickness, so your sight height stays consistent with your existing irons—no surprises when you transition or co-witness.
Compatible with Glock Gen 4 and Gen 5 MOS slides (G17, G19, G34, G35, G41, and G40), this plate is machined from steel and ships with everything you need: the correct sight-to-plate and plate-to-slide screws, a Torx key, and a VC3 lubricant packet. It's the kind of detail-oriented gear that comes from someone who's actually used this stuff in the field, not just designed it in a CAD file.
