Fortis Manufacturing, Inc.
The Fortis Manufacturing REV II free float rail is a lightweight, modular handguard built for shooters who refuse to compromise between durability and weight savings. Built from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a military-spec hard coat anodize finish, the REV II uses a single-piece body design that strips away unnecessary material while maintaining the rigidity you need for precision shooting, tactical work, or casual range days. Its unique mounting system works with a standard AR15 barrel nut for straightforward installation—no special tools or proprietary hardware required.
Modularity is baked in: KeyMod slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions give you flexibility to attach lights, vertical grips, rail sections, and other accessories without adding bulk. Rotation-limited QD sockets keep your gear in place, and anti-rotation tabs prevent the handguard from twisting under recoil or during transitions. Weighing just 6.7 ounces with a 1.340-inch inside diameter and 9.6-inch length, the REV II fits piston-driven uppers as well as direct impingement setups, making it a versatile choice across AR platform builds.
If you're building a lightweight patrol rifle, upgrading a competition gun, or simply want a handguard that does more with less, the Fortis REV II delivers the kind of thoughtful engineering that separates purpose-built gear from commodity parts. It's the kind of component that reminds you why attention to detail matters in the field.
