Fortis Manufacturing, Inc.
The Fortis Manufacturing Rev II 12.4" Free Float Handguard is a purpose-built AR-15 rail system designed for shooters who refuse to compromise between weight and strength. Built from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with mil-spec Type III hard coat anodize, this handguard delivers a lightweight platform that won't sacrifice durability or precision. The one-piece construction keeps unnecessary material where it counts—structural integrity—while aggressive weight savings come from strategic M-LOK cutouts positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Whether you're building a precision rifle, a lightweight hunting gun, or a duty-ready platform, the Rev II delivers modular mounting without the bulk.
Installation is straightforward: the Rev II attaches directly to your standard AR-15 barrel nut (sold separately), making it compatible with both direct impingement and piston operating systems. Anti-rotation tabs keep the handguard locked in place once torqued down, eliminating the creep that can haunt less robust designs. The continuous top rail accommodates optics, lights, lasers, or iron sights, while the M-LOK slots give you the flexibility to mount accessories exactly where you need them without adding weight you don't.
Made in the USA, the Rev II represents Fortis Manufacturing's philosophy: excellent performance doesn't require either a bloated profile or a bloated price tag. This is the kind of handguard that proves less can genuinely be more.

The handguard itself and the anti-rotation tabs are included. You'll need to supply your own standard AR-15 barrel nut for installation.
Yes. The continuous top rail accommodates standard picatinny-mount accessories like optics, lights, and laser modules. The M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock accept M-LOK-compatible lights, grips, foregrips, and other tactical accessories.
The Rev II includes anti-rotation tabs that lock into your barrel nut, preventing the handguard from twisting during recoil or rough handling. Once properly torqued, it stays put.
