Fortis Manufacturing, Inc.
The Fortis Manufacturing LA Stock is a lightweight, precision-engineered aluminum buttstock built for shooters who want to modernize their rifle's ergonomics without compromise. This complete bundle includes the stock itself, a mil-spec buffer tube, and a QD end plate, giving you everything needed to upgrade from a standard plastic stock immediately. Fortis designed the LA stock around a patented lever-action clamping system that locks onto the buffer tube with zero rattle or play—a meaningful improvement over stocks that rely on set screws or loose fits.
Built from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in military-spec Type III hard-coat anodized black, the LA stock is purpose-built to handle field use and training abuse. The slim profile doesn't sacrifice strength; it's a genuine lightweight design without the flimsy feel. A real carbon fiber cheek piece provides both comfort and a premium feel against your face during shooting. Three QD sockets let you configure attachment points for your gear according to your mission, whether that's hunting, patrol, or the range.
Installation and removal are tool-free—the lever-action design means you can take it off the buffer tube by hand in seconds, making it practical for swapping between rifles or adjusting your setup on the fly. If you're running a rifle with a mil-spec buffer tube and want to replace a worn or uncomfortable plastic stock with something lighter, more refined, and built to last, this bundle gets you there without hunting for compatible parts.
| Material | Aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum |
| Finish | Military-spec Type III hard-coat anodized (black) |
| Cheek Piece | Real carbon fiber |
| Buffer Tube Compatibility | Standard mil-spec buffer tubes |
| QD Sockets | 3 |
| Installation | Tool-free |
| Design | Patented lever-action clamping system |
| Included | LA stock, mil-spec buffer tube, QD end plate |
The LA stock is designed for any rifle with a standard mil-spec buffer tube. If your rifle already has a mil-spec buffer tube installed (common on AR-pattern rifles), you can use this stock. The bundle includes a fresh mil-spec buffer tube, so you have everything you need out of the box.
The lever clamps down onto the mil-spec buffer tube, creating a solid, rattle-free connection with no movement. Once clamped, the stock stays put; there's no wobble or shift during shooting. Releasing the lever allows you to slide the stock off by hand without tools.
You get the Fortis LA stock itself, a standard mil-spec buffer tube, and a QD end plate—a complete drop-in solution for upgrading from a plastic stock.
Yes. The aluminum construction is lightweight and durable, the carbon fiber cheek piece provides repeatable cheek weld for accuracy-focused shooting, and the QD sockets let you attach a sling or other gear as needed. It's built for field conditions and real-world use.
