Firefield
The Firefield 2.5-10x40 Barrage rifle scope with red laser is a versatile, feature-rich optic built for hunters and shooters who need flexibility across close-quarters to mid-range distances. Housed in a tough aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum body with a matte black finish, this scope pairs a variable 2.5–10x magnification range with an integrated red laser and illuminated mil-dot reticle to help you acquire and track targets in changing light. It's the kind of scope that rewards shooters who want capability without complexity—plenty of adjustment range, reliable weatherproofing, and the option to rely on either glass or laser aiming depending on the moment.
The dual-illumination red/green mil-dot reticle is the real workhorse here. Five brightness settings let you dial in the right visibility whether you're hunting at first light, glassing in bright sun, or working through overcast conditions. The 5mW red laser (Class IIIA, 532nm wavelength) adds another aiming option and works particularly well in low-light scenarios where the reticle alone might not stand out. Battery life stretches to 100 hours on either CR2032 or AG13 batteries, so you won't be fumbling for spares during a hunt.
Build quality is solid throughout. Fully multi-coated optics reduce glare and deliver clear glass, while the IPX4 waterproof rating and fog-proof design mean this scope handles rain, snow, and temperature swings from 0°F to 120°F without fogging or leaking. The included sunshade protects the objective lens from stray light and bumps. For precision, the mil-dot reticle includes dedicated drop compensation for 55-grain .223 ammunition out to 500 yards, and you get 1/4 MOA windage and elevation adjustments with a 110 MOA range in each direction—enough room to dial for distance or correct for wind without chasing the turrets. The two-piece Weaver/Picatinny mount system fits most modern rifle platforms, and the scope is rated for recoil up to .308 Winchester.
At 18.8 ounces and 8.07 inches long with a 40mm objective, it strikes a practical balance between light enough for a day in the field and large enough to gather adequate light from lower magnifications. Whether you're zeroing at the range, setting up for a hunt, or simply exploring what dual-aiming systems can do, the Firefield Barrage delivers functional performance without the premium price tag.

Yes. The scope is rated for recoil up to .308 Winchester, so it can handle that cartridge and smaller centerfire rounds. Make sure your rifle has a proper Weaver or Picatinny rail and that you mount the scope securely.
Battery life is rated at 100 hours of use. The scope accepts either a single CR2032 or two AG13 batteries. Both types are common and widely available at sporting goods retailers, hardware stores, and online.
IPX4 means the scope is protected against water splashing from any direction—ideal for rain, snow, and wet field conditions. Combined with the nitrogen-fill and fog-proof design, the scope will remain clear and functional across wet weather and temperature swings from 0°F to 120°F.
The integrated laser is a Class IIIA red laser (532nm, <5mW). We recommend you review all local and federal regulations regarding laser use before deploying the laser on your rifle. Laser safety practices—such as avoiding direct eye exposure—should always be followed.
