Federal
Federal Ammunition's Upland Paper 20-gauge shotshells bring back the classic look and feel of traditional upland loads while delivering the reliability modern hunters expect. These 2¾-inch shells load 1 ounce of extra-hard copper-plated lead shot—225 pellets of #6—specifically designed for pheasant, grouse, quail, and other upland game. The waxed-paper hull and optimized wad column work together to maintain consistent patterns and energy downrange, giving you the nostalgic aesthetic without sacrificing performance in the field.
What sets Upland Paper apart is the attention to both tradition and modern ballistics. Federal's choice of propellant and primer ensures reliable ignition shot after shot, whether you're working through a cold morning or a full day of hunting. The #6 shot size strikes the balance most upland hunters prefer—enough pellets for dense patterns on fast-flushing birds, with the energy to reach out to reasonable ranges. At 1,250 fps muzzle velocity, these loads deliver the performance you need without the overkill of heavier magnum shells.
Each box contains 25 shells packaged in sleeves of 10, making Upland Paper practical for both the serious upland gunner and the occasional weekend hunter. If you shoot 20-gauge and prefer the character and handling of classic shotgun loads, these deliver exactly what you're after.
