Federal
Federal Action Shotgun Shotshells are purpose-built for 3-gun competition and high-volume shotgun shooting. These 12-gauge 2-3/4" shells deliver a 1 1/8-ounce payload of No. 7.5 lead shot at 1235 fps—a velocity engineered to strike the balance between energy and controllability when you're running stages fast and tight. Competitive shooters depend on ammunition that cycles reliably and performs consistently, and that's what the Action line brings to the line.
The roll-crimp construction is the standout here: it adds structural rigidity to the shell casing itself, which translates to reliable feeding and extraction through both tube-fed and magazine-fed shotgun actions. Whether you're shooting an 1187, a Mossberg 930, or a modern semi-auto competition gun, this crimp helps eliminate the feeding hiccups that cost you time and accuracy on stage. Paired with Federal's plated steel head, you get consistent chambering and extraction round after round—critical when you're pushing through high-round-count stages or qualifying for match day.
The No. 7.5 shot size and 1235 fps velocity are dialed in for target-range work and clay sports, offering knockdown authority without excessive recoil that bleeds your match time. You're getting 200 rounds per case, so you can stock up for a full practice session or match weekend without rationing ammunition.
