The Faxon Ar15 Barrel 350 Legend in 16" with Gunner Profile is a versatile, mid-weight barrel built for AR builders who want a balanced platform for the increasingly popular 350 Legend cartridge. Faxon's Gunner Profile splits the difference between traditional Government-profile durability and Pencil-profile speed and handling—giving you a general-purpose rifle that doesn't sacrifice either trait. Machined from 4150 steel and button-rifled with a 1:16 twist, this barrel handles the subsonic and supers-sonic loads that make 350 Legend effective for hunting medium game and running drills on the range.

The 16" length pairs naturally with carbine-gas systems, making it a natural fit for compact, maneuverable builds without the bulk of a mid-length or rifle-length gas tube. The nitride finish inside and out provides corrosion resistance and durability typical of Faxon's no-frills, working-gun approach. At .750" across the gas-block journal, the barrel mates with standard gas blocks—no special adapters required. All Faxon barrels are MPI-tested to catch hidden flaws before they reach you.

The 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle accepts common AR suppressors, brakes, or flash hiders, so you can tailor the rifle to your mission. Whether you're building a hunting rifle, a short-range truck gun, or experimenting with 350 Legend's unique ballistics, this barrel delivers the balance of weight, handling, and strength that makes the Gunner Profile a favorite among serious AR builders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What gas system length does this 350 Legend barrel use?

This barrel is fitted with a carbine-length gas system, which pairs well with the 16" barrel length for balanced dwell time and reduced recoil impulse.

Will this barrel work with standard AR-15 gas blocks?

Yes. The .750" gas-block journal is the standard size, so it's compatible with most common AR gas blocks without special adapters.

What muzzle devices can I attach to this barrel?

The barrel has a 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle, which accepts most standard AR suppressors, flash hiders, and muzzle brakes in that thread pattern.

What is the Gunner Profile and why should I choose it?

The Gunner Profile is Faxon's hybrid design that combines the durability and reliability of Government-profile barrels with the lighter weight and improved handling of Pencil-profile barrels. It's ideal for builders who want a versatile, general-purpose rifle without sacrificing either toughness or maneuverability.
