Edgar Sherman Design
The Edgar Sherman Design Granite Grip Topo is a precision AR-15 and AR-10 pistol grip engineered to give you better control and consistency without sacrificing comfort across shooting disciplines. Unlike off-the-shelf mil-spec grips, this one features a distinctly tapered profile and a reduced grip angle of 13.1 degrees—that subtle geometry shift encourages a more natural wrist alignment for tighter shot groups while remaining versatile enough for hunting, competition, and tactical applications. The Topo texture offers a moderately grippy surface that works equally well with or without gloves, striking a practical balance for field use in variable conditions.
ESD ditched traditional injection molding in favor of MJF 3D printing with durable Nylon 12, a process that allowed them to build the unique tapered contour you can't get from standard manufacturing. The result is a grip that molds to your hand over time and feels noticeably more refined than generic alternatives. The flat front face and chamfered edges are thoughtfully inspired by precision shooting technique—small details that help you build consistency from shot to shot, whether you're dialing in at the range or hunting at distance.
Installation is straightforward: the grip ships with everything you need—a stainless steel button head hex drive screw (18-8 passivated to resist corrosion) and a Belleville lock washer to keep it tight. It drops into any standard AR-pattern lower receiver: AR-15, M4, M16, AR-10, M110, SR25, and compatible clones.

| Grip Angle | 13.1 degrees |
| Texture | Topo (moderately grippy) |
| Material | Nylon 12 (MJF 3D printed) |
| Hardware | 18-8 passivated stainless steel button head hex screw, Belleville lock washer |
| Compatibility | AR-15, M4, M16, AR-10, M110, SR25, and AR-pattern clones with standard lower receivers |
Yes. The Granite Grip Topo is designed for any standard AR-pattern lower receiver, including AR-15, M4, M16, AR-10, M110, SR25, and compatible clones. Installation requires only the included hex drive screw and washer.
The Topo texture is moderately grippy and works well both with and without gloves. If you need more aggressive texture for extreme cold-weather or tactical work with heavy gloves, ESD also produces the grip in a Coarse texture option.
The standard mil-spec AR grip sits at approximately 20 degrees. The Granite Grip's 13.1-degree angle is gentler and encourages a more neutral wrist position, which many shooters find more comfortable and conducive to precision. It remains versatile for all shooting applications—hunting, competition, and general use.
Yes. The Granite Grip Topo includes a stainless steel button head hex drive screw (18-8 passivated for corrosion resistance) and a Belleville lock washer. No additional hardware is required for installation on a standard AR lower.
