The EoTech 300 Blk Holosight is a dedicated red dot sight built for shooters who run both subsonic and supersonic .300 Blackout loads. Its dual 1 MOA dot reticle with 65 MOA ring gives you two aiming points within the same pattern—zero one dot for subsonic ammo, the other for supersonic—and switch between them on the fly without re-zeroing. This is the setup serious .300 BLK hunters, SBR owners, and tactical shooters have been asking for.

The EoTech 300 Blk sits on the compact XPS2 platform, one of the shortest and lightest holosight frames EoTech makes. At just 8 ounces and 3.5 inches long, it leaves plenty of rail real estate for a magnifier, backup iron sights, or a light. The single CR123 battery (included) keeps things simple and extends your sight picture compared to dual-battery designs. Battery life runs 600 hours at nominal brightness, so you're not constantly swapping cells.

Water resistance to 10 feet means it'll handle rain, creek crossings, and rough field conditions without losing zero. Mounts solid to any standard Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail. If night vision is part of your kit, note that the XPS2 platform does not offer NV compatibility—the XPS3 line handles that. But for daylight hunting, range work, or any mission where you need fast, intuitive aiming with caliber-specific ballistic redundancy built in, the 300 Blk Holosight is a no-fuss choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the EoTech 300 Blk Holosight on an AR or other modern rifle?

Yes. The sight mounts to any standard Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail, so it works on AR-15s, AR-10s, AKs, and any other rifle with picatinny-compatible rails.

What's included in the box?

The CR123 battery is included, so you can mount and use the sight right out of the package. No battery purchase needed.

Is this sight compatible with night vision?

No. The XPS2 platform does not support night vision. If NV compatibility is essential to your setup, EoTech offers NV-ready sights in the XPS3 line.

Will the two dots in the reticle cause confusion in the field?

The dual-dot design is purpose-built for .300 Blackout shooters who regularly switch between subsonic and supersonic ammunition. You zero each dot to its respective load and simply select the appropriate dot for your round. In practice, it eliminates the need to re-zero when changing ammo types—a big advantage for hunters and tactical shooters who rely on both.
