EGW
The EGW Winchester 88 and 100 scope base delivers a modern Picatinny rail system to shotguns that normally max out with basic factory mounts. If you're running a Winchester 88 or 100 and want to mount a quality scope or red dot without sending the gun to a gunsmith, this one-piece aluminum base bolts straight to the existing receiver holes—no drilling, no tapping, no permanent modifications. It's built to accept any standard Picatinny or Weaver ring, which means your choice of optics isn't limited to shotgun-specific hardware.
The base is precision-machined from 6061-T6 extruded aluminum and features true MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny slot-and-rail spacing, gauged to +/-.002" for consistent ring fit. The one-piece design keeps things rigid and simple; the milled center channel reduces unnecessary weight without sacrificing strength. Because it's Picatinny, you get real flexibility to dial in eye relief exactly where you want it—a genuine advantage over fixed factory mounts. The package includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench for installation, though EGW recommends 20 inch-pounds of torque and a small amount of blue loctite for a permanent, vibration-proof fit.
Whether you're adding a slug-hunting scope, a low-power variable for wing shooting, or a quick-acquiring dot, this base integrates proven technology into a classic shotgun platform. It's the kind of no-fuss upgrade that lets your Winchester do more without permanent surgery.

Yes. The EGW base is drilled to match the factory scope mount holes on Winchester 88 and 100 receivers. Installation requires only a screwdriver and wrench—no drilling, tapping, or modification of the gun.
Any Picatinny or Weaver scope rings will work. The base features standard MIL-STD 1913 slot-and-rail spacing, so you have broad optics compatibility and can easily swap rings or scopes as needed.
The 20 MOA upward angle is built into the base, giving you additional elevation travel for long-range rifle shooting or to fine-tune bullet impact. On a shotgun, it provides mounting geometry that works well with modern optics placement.
The package includes socket head Torx screws, a wrench for installation, and a set of instructions. EGW recommends torquing the screws to 20 inch-pounds and applying a small drop of blue loctite to ensure a secure, vibration-resistant fit.
