The EGW Remington 700, 721, 725 Long Action 15 MOA scope base is a one-piece Picatinny rail that mounts directly to your Remington receiver using factory-drilled holes—no gunsmithing, no drilling, no tapping required. This is the base that bridges your rifle and your optics, so it needs to be rock-solid, and that's what EGW delivers. Built from 6061 T6 aluminum and precision-machined to MIL-STD 1913 spec, this mount gives you the flexibility to dial in eye relief quickly, swap scopes without starting over, and use either Picatinny or Weaver rings—all while keeping your setup tight and repeatable.

The 15 MOA angle is baked in, which means it's ideal for shooters running long-range setups on a Remington 700 or compatible long-action receiver who want to maximize their scope's vertical travel without tilting the rifle itself. Whether you're building a hunting rifle, a precision range gun, or a PRS-style platform, this base gives you the mechanical advantage of pre-angled elevation in one rigid piece.

EGW machines this from extruded aluminum with a milled center channel for weight savings where it counts. The full-width cross-slots are gauged tight—to within +/-.002" of spec—so you get repeatability shot to shot, range trip to range trip. It ships with socket head Torx screws and the wrench to install them. EGW recommends 20 inch-pounds of torque and a drop of blue Loctite to keep everything where you put it.
