EGW
The EGW Browning A-Bolt WSSM 20 MOA scope base gives you a one-piece Picatinny rail solution for your Browning A-Bolt in WSSM caliber without any gunsmithing required. This is a drop-in replacement that uses your rifle's factory scope mount holes—no drilling, no tapping. If you're running a Browning A-Bolt WSSM and want to modernize your optics setup or switch between different scopes quickly, this base delivers the flexibility and precision you need at the range or in the field.
Built from 6061 T6 extruded aluminum, the base is precision-machined with MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny slots gauged to +/-.002" for reliable, repeatable ring placement. The full-width cross-slots let you dial in your eye relief exactly where it needs to be and swap between Picatinny and Weaver rings without hassle. The milled center channel keeps weight down without sacrificing rigidity—important when you're building a rifle you actually want to carry. Everything ships with socket head Torx screws and the wrench to install them; EGW recommends 20 inch-pounds of torque and a small amount of blue Loctite to keep things locked in place.
Whether you're upgrading from iron sights, modernizing an older rifle, or just want the flexibility to experiment with different optics, this base is a straightforward, no-fuss solution that respects both your rifle and your budget.
