EGW
The EGW 7075 Aluminum Picatinny Rail Blank is a 16-inch machined mounting platform designed for gunsmiths, precision rifle builders, and shooters who need a custom optic solution. This blank rail is cut to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny dimensions, giving you a standardized base that works with any Picatinny scope rings—whether you're mounting a lightweight hunting optic, a competition glass, or a long-range tactical scope. If your receiver has non-standard hole spacing or you want to avoid drilling into the action itself, this aluminum blank lets you fabricate a custom base that fits your specific setup.
Built from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in matte black, the rail combines lightweight construction with durability. The pre-cut cross-slots accelerate your build or gunsmith work and eliminate the guesswork of laying out ring positions from scratch. Because the bottom surface is flat, you can radius-cut it to match virtually any receiver contour—giving you the flexibility to adapt it to AR platforms, bolt guns with curved actions, or handgun frames where a standard factory base won't work.
This is raw material for the builder: order the blank, machine it to your specs, cut your radius if needed, drill for your receiver's fastening pattern, and you're ready to mount optics. It's faster and cleaner than drilling holes in a finished receiver, and it lets you reuse the same base if you swap actions or switch guns down the road. Whether you're a gunsmith stocking your shop or a dedicated shooter tackling a custom build, the EGW aluminum Picatinny blank gives you a genuine MIL-spec foundation.

Yes. The blank is machined to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny dimensions, so it accepts any standard Picatinny-compatible scope rings once you've finished your build.
The blank provides a base; you'll need to drill fastening holes in your receiver to mount it. The advantage is that you can customize the hole spacing and location to fit your specific action, rather than being locked into factory hole patterns.
Yes. The flat bottom allows you to radius-cut the base to match the curve of your receiver, giving you a custom fit without needing standard hole spacing.
This is a machined blank for custom fabrication. You'll finish it to your specifications—drilling fastening holes, cutting the radius as needed, and fitting it to your receiver. It's designed for gunsmiths and experienced builders.
