Edgar Sherman Design
The Edgar Sherman Design Granite Grip with Beavertail is a coarse-texture AR platform grip built for shooters who want real control without compromise. If you're running an AR rifle for hunting, tactical work, or the range, a quality grip is where your hand meets the gun—and this one delivers a confident, non-slip purchase in wet, cold, or gloved conditions. The beavertail design extends the backstrap to protect your hand from the trigger guard and receiver, a feature that adds safety and comfort, especially during rapid fire or when wearing heavy gloves.
The Granite Grip's coarse texture is aggressive enough to lock in your grip without being uncomfortable during extended shooting sessions. The matte Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish complements modern AR builds and won't catch light in low-light hunting scenarios. As an Edgar Sherman Design product, this grip carries the reputation of a maker focused on practical, shooter-centered accessories rather than flashy gimmicks.
Drop-in compatibility with AR platform rifles means installation is straightforward—no special tools or gunsmithing required. Whether you're upgrading a duty gun, a hunting rifle, or a range gun, this grip is a direct replacement that improves ergonomics and control without changing the fundamentals of your build.
This is an AR platform grip, so it fits any AR-15 or AR-10 lower receiver with standard grip mounting. Installation is straightforward and requires no modifications.
The beavertail extends upward to cover the area between the trigger guard and receiver, protecting your hand during recoil and offering a higher, more ergonomic hand position. It's especially useful if you wear tactical or winter gloves.
Yes. The coarse texture is designed to provide a secure, non-slip grip even with gloves or in wet conditions, making it suitable for hunting, tactical training, and field use.
Flat Dark Earth (FDE), a neutral tan that matches most modern AR components and finishes.
