Ed Brown
The Ed Brown 1911 Perfection Disconnector 811-M is a precision-machined replacement trigger component built for shooters who demand reliable, crisp trigger performance in their 1911 pistols. Whether you're tuning a competition gun, restoring a well-loved pistol, or building a custom 1911 from the frame up, a quality disconnector is a critical piece of the puzzle—it controls when the hammer follows the trigger and directly affects how your gun breaks. Ed Brown's reputation in the 1911 world comes from decades of hands-on gunsmithing and competitive shooting experience, and that expertise shows in their component selection.
This disconnector is precision machined to tight tolerances, ensuring consistent engagement and disengagement with your hammer and sear. Unlike generic replacement parts, a purpose-built disconnector from a respected 1911 manufacturer helps eliminate issues like hammer follow or inconsistent trigger reset that can creep in as firearms wear or when parts are mixed and matched. If you're a gunsmith, an armorer, or a serious 1911 enthusiast who knows the value of quality internals, this part is engineered to perform alongside other Ed Brown components or as an upgrade to an existing build.
The 811-M is manufactured in America and meets Ed Brown's standards for precision and durability. Installation requires 1911 armorer knowledge—this isn't a drop-in fix for casual tinkerers—but for gunsmiths and 1911 builders, it's a straightforward trigger group component. Pair it with other quality internals for a trigger system that breaks clean and resets reliably, shot after shot.
