The DPMS Kitty Cat 300 Blackout pistol delivers serious magazine-fed firepower in a compact, maneuverable package. Built on a forged 7075-T6 C7 upper and lower receiver, this .300 AAC Blackout AR pistol combines mil-spec engineering with a 7.5-inch heavy profile barrel and pistol-length gas system—ideal for shooters who need effective intermediate range capability without the footprint of a full rifle. The CAR-style pistol brace and 6-position collapsible buffer tube let you dial in a comfortable shooting position, whether you're running drills at the range, hunting hogs in tight brush, or setting up for home defense.
The barrel is chrome-moly vanadium steel with a 1:8 twist rate optimized for .300 Blackout ammo, and it's topped with a pinned A2 flash hider and front sight gas block for a clean, controllable platform. The bolt carrier group is built to USGI spec with a shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel bolt, hardened gas key staked per mil-spec, and a chrome-lined 8620 steel carrier—the kind of durability you expect from a rifle that needs to work when it matters. Forward assist and dust cover round out the upper, while the lower ships with a mil-spec fire control group and classic A2 grip.
Everything on this pistol is finished in hard-coat anodized aluminum for durability and corrosion resistance. You'll also get one 30-round aluminum magazine with Teflon coating. If you're building a .300 Blackout truck gun, suppressed short-range hunter, or want a compact AR that doesn't compromise on construction quality, the Kitty Cat is a practical, no-frills option backed by solid parts and real mil-spec standards.

You get the complete .300 Blackout pistol with upper and lower assembled, plus one 30-round Teflon-coated aluminum magazine.
The DPMS CAR-style brace is mounted to a 6-position collapsible buffer tube, allowing you to adjust how the pistol fits in your hand and against your body for improved control and comfort. The buffer tube has six adjustment positions to dial in your preferred length.
