Dead Air
The Dead Air Xemax DA152 muzzle brake brings precision recoil control to hard-hitting .45 caliber rifles. Built on Dead Air Armament's proven Xeno Mounting Technology, this brake uses a self-aligning taper system that keeps bore alignment consistent shot after shot—critical for shooters demanding repeatable accuracy on big-bore platforms. Whether you're running a .45-70 Government, .450 Bushmaster, or other heavy-hitting .45 caliber rifle, the Xemax is engineered to tame felt recoil and manage gas dynamics without the hype.
The single-port design vectors gas outward and upward, minimizing ground dust signature while reducing felt recoil—useful for precision rifle work and tactical applications alike. The brake's robust construction handles the pressures of big-bore cartridges, and its design is optimized for extended suppressor life if you run a suppressor downstream. If you're a Dead Air Primal silencer owner, you can adapt the Xemax system to your existing can with a simple Xemax adapter, giving you a path to upgraded performance without a full silencer purchase. Timing is required during installation, and the package includes shims to dial in the fit.
At 3.38 ounces and just over 2 inches long, the Xemax stays compact while delivering the control hunters and precision shooters need on maximum-recoil platforms. The 11/16-24 thread pitch fits common big-bore rifle barrels. This is a serious brake for serious shooters—not flashy, just functional engineering built to work.
