Dead Air
The Dead Air Nomad Enhanced Brake is a precision muzzle device engineered to amplify the recoil-reduction benefits of your suppressor. Built specifically for Dead Air's Nomad Series suppressor, this brake threads onto your can's front cap to deliver flatter shooting with measurably softer recoil impulse. It's the kind of upgrade that makes a noticeable difference whether you're running a precision rifle at the range, hunting in demanding terrain, or working through training courses where shooter comfort matters.
The Nomad E-Brake uses a diffused venting design that releases high-pressure gases more gradually than traditional brakes. That engineered approach reduces the dust signature when shooting prone and cuts the blast effects that bother shooters and bystanders downrange—a genuine advantage for tactical or hunting applications where noise and blast management matter. At 1.735" in diameter, the Nomad version sits flush with your suppressor for a clean, integrated look without sacrificing function.
Installation is straightforward: unscrew your existing front cap from the Nomad, install it onto the E-Brake, and thread the assembly back onto your suppressor. No special tools or gunsmithing required. The 7075-T6 aluminum construction keeps weight minimal at 1.55 oz while the Type III hardcoat anodize finish stands up to hard use and corrosion. Thread compatibility spans Dead Air's R-Series lineup (Sandman, Wolverine, and Wolfman), so you have flexibility if your gear collection evolves.
This is a straightforward, well-engineered piece: it does one job—enhance recoil management—and does it without gimmicks or hype. If you're running a Nomad suppressor and want a measurable bump in shot control and reduced recoil, the E-Brake is a logical addition to your setup.
