The CZ 457 At-One Varmint .22LR bolt-action rifle combines affordability with serious adjustability, making it one of the best trainer platforms and small-game rifles for shooters of any size. Built on the proven CZ 457 receiver and paired with Boyd's AT-ONE laminate stock, this rifle lets you dial in both length of pull and comb height to fit your frame and shooting style—a rare feature at this price point that keeps it relevant as your kids grow or you share it among multiple shooters.
The 16.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel is threaded for easy suppressor mounting, ideal if you're running .22 subsonic loads for quiet backyard or farm varminting. The stiff laminate stock provides a solid, weatherproof platform without the flex you'd get from softer synthetics, and the fully adjustable trigger lets you tune break weight to your preference. At 7.23 pounds unloaded, it's light enough for a day afield but substantial enough to manage recoil and stay on target through rapid fire.
With 5/8 inches of comb adjustment and length-of-pull range from 12.5 to 14.25 inches, the At-One stock accommodates everything from youth shooters to larger adults. The 1:16 twist rate and .22LR chambering make it a natural choice for precise target work, small varmint control, and low-cost trigger time. The 5-round detachable magazine keeps shooting sessions quick and simple, and the 11mm dovetail receiver is ready for optics if you want to add precision to your accuracy.
This is a rifle built for shooters who refuse to compromise between versatility and value—whether you're training the next generation, controlling rabbits and groundhogs, or just logging hours downrange without breaking the bank.
