The CZ 457 .22 WMR left-handed rifle is a purpose-built rimfire for shooters who've waited long enough for a quality option made for their dominant hand. This isn't a converted afterthought—CZ built the entire rifle from the ground up for lefties, keeping every feature that makes the 457 platform one of the best rimfire systems on the market. With a 24-inch cold hammer-forged barrel and no iron sights, it's clearly designed to be scoped and ready for precision work, whether you're training, hunting small game, or running rimfire competitions.
The .22 WMR chambering delivers more velocity and energy than standard .22 LR, making it a solid choice for varmints and medium-range target work. The Turkish walnut American-style stock wears laser-cut stippling front and rear for confident grip, even in less-than-ideal conditions, and the high flat comb gives you consistent cheek weld for scope shooting. At 6.17 pounds and 38.2 inches overall, it handles like a precision tool without feeling front-heavy on the bench or in the field.
The 457 platform gives you genuine shooter control. The adjustable trigger lets you dial weight and over-travel to your preference, while the 60-degree bolt throw keeps scope clearance easy—no awkward gymnastics when working the action. An 11mm dovetail milled into the receiver accepts standard scope ring mounts, and the detachable magazine system is the same reliable polymer design that's proven itself across the entire 457 line. Barrel swapping is straightforward too, so if you want to experiment with different calibers down the road, you've got options.
This is a left-handed rifle built for left-handed shooters, not a compromise. If you've been settling for right-handed-only precision rimfires, the 457 left-hand finally gives you access to the performance and ergonomics you deserve.
