The Colt Gold Cup National Match .45 ACP is a serious competition pistol built for shooters who demand precision and control on the firing line. Built on a proven 1911 platform with an 8+1 round capacity, this hammer-fired semi-auto in blue finish brings decades of competitive pedigree to your range bag or match setup. If you're running .45 ACP in local club matches or working up to sanctioned events, the Gold Cup gives you a factory platform tuned for accuracy and shot placement from the box.

What sets the Gold Cup apart is its purpose-built feature set. The adjustable wide trigger is ergonomic and responsive, the lowered and flared ejection port handles brass reliably, and the fully adjustable Bomar-style rear sight paired with a target post front sight lets you dial in your zero precisely. The National Match barrel and round-top slide give you the mechanical foundation to shoot tight groups, while the standard safety lock keeps the gun secure when not in use.

This isn't a do-everything duty gun or a carry pistol—it's designed for competitors and serious shooters who understand the .45 ACP and want a 1911 that comes ready to compete without aftermarket gunsmithing. The blue finish is classic Colt and holds up to field use and cleaning. Whether you're a 1911 purist exploring competition or upgrading from a standard model, the Gold Cup National Match delivers the adjustability and trigger control that make the difference at distance and under pressure.
