Colt
The Colt CCU Government .45 ACP pistol is a professional-grade, single-action 1911 built for shooters who demand a no-compromise duty or competition sidearm. With its 5-inch barrel, full-size steel frame, and crisp trigger, the CCU delivers the stopping power and ergonomics that have made the Government model a standard-bearer for decades. The black PVD finish resists corrosion and wear, holding up to the hard use you'll give it on the range or in the field.
This isn't a mass-market 1911—it's a TALO exclusive built to tighter tolerances. The extended magwell speeds reloads under pressure, while the ambidextrous extended thumb safety lets you run it left or right-handed without fumbling. Novak front and rear sights cut through the glare and track fast on target. The G10 checkered grip panels in gray with scallops give you bite without tearing up your hands, and the steel frame soaks up recoil for faster follow-up shots.
Whether you're running it for serious self-defense, competition, or as a working carry gun, the CCU Government earned its reputation through accuracy and reliability. At 40 ounces, it's substantial enough to manage recoil but still practical for carry. The 8+1 capacity gives you a full magazine plus one in the chamber—room to work with if things get serious.
