Cold Steel
The Cold Steel Leatherneck Mini Tanto knife delivers serious cutting performance in a compact, carry-friendly package. Built from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, this fixed blade tanto combines the aggressive geometry of a classic fighting blade with practical size and weight—ideal for hunters, outdoorsmen, and anyone who wants a dependable knife that won't weigh down a pack or belt. The satin-finished 3.50" blade pairs a reinforced point with a broad, flat cutting edge; the tanto geometry gives you authority at the tip while the spine holds an edge through tough field work.
Cold Steel's Leatherneck series is built on the principle that punch and utility don't require bulk. This mini version stays true to that legacy. The Kray-Ex handle—a durable, textured composite—mirrors the ergonomics of Cold Steel's larger Leatherneck models in a shorter, lighter form factor. The blade is backed by a substantial stainless steel guard with broad quillons to protect your fingers during hard use, a detail often missing on budget compact knives but essential when you're working in gloves or under pressure.
The package includes a tough Secure-Ex sheath built to last; it accommodates a bead lanyard or a Cold Steel C-Clip for secure, silent carry. At 3.3 ounces, the Leatherneck Mini is light enough for everyday carry, backcountry hunting, or emergency kit duty without eating up precious weight or pack space. This is a no-frills, honest knife engineered for real work—not marketing hype.
