The Cold Steel SRK 6" fixed blade knife is a no-nonsense survival and tactical knife built for serious work in unforgiving conditions. With a 6-inch blade of SK-5 steel finished in a tough black Tuff-Ex coating, the SRK delivers the kind of durability and edge retention you need when reliability matters. The handle is built from Kray-Ex, a material chosen for its grip in wet and cold environments. At 8.2 ounces with a total length of 10¾ inches, it strikes a balance between reach and packability—equally at home in a backcountry pack, a tactical load-out, or strapped to your chest gear.

Cold Steel designed the SRK from the ground up for rescue, survival, and field use where a knife has to perform under stress. The 5mm blade thickness gives you enough backbone for heavy cutting and prying without excess weight. Whether you're processing firewood, field dressing game, clearing brush, or handling emergency tasks, the SRK's geometry and materials are proven across military, law enforcement, and civilian fieldwork. The knife includes a Secure-Ex sheath, so you get a secure carry option right out of the box.

This is a fixed blade with a clear mission: be there when you need it and work without complaint. No folding mechanisms to fail, no blade play to develop. The SRK has earned its reputation through decades of real-world use, not marketing hype. If you're looking for a dependable companion for hunting, camping, survival training, or any task where a serious knife makes sense, the Cold Steel SRK delivers straightforward performance.
