The Cobratec Knives 952 OTF dagger is a compact, reliable out-of-the-fold blade built for shooters, hunters, and outdoor professionals who need a sharp tool they can deploy with one hand. Featuring a 1.75" stonewashed D2 steel blade, this OTF dagger delivers the cutting performance and corrosion resistance you'd expect from premium tool steel in a package designed for everyday carry and field use. The 3" black anodized aluminum handle is lightweight and durable, built to withstand the rigors of camp, range, or backcountry work.
OTF knives (out-the-front automatics) are favored by hunters and tactical users for their speed and convenience—the blade deploys instantly when you need it, leaving one hand free for your firearm, rope, or gear. The stonewashed finish on the D2 blade gives it a practical, working appearance while masking wear and reducing glare. The black aluminum handle is ergonomic enough for extended cutting tasks and tough enough for whatever terrain or weather you encounter.
This is a serious tool for serious users: whether you're field-dressing game, preparing firewood at camp, cutting cordage on an expedition, or maintaining gear at the range, the 952 delivers reliable blade steel and fast deployment in a compact form factor. The OTF mechanism is responsive and repeatable, so you can rely on it under pressure. If you're looking for a versatile, American-made OTF dagger that performs and lasts, the Cobratec 952 is worth a close look.

OTF stands for out-of-the-front: the blade deploys straight out the front of the handle by pressing a button or trigger. This allows you to open the knife one-handed while keeping your other hand on your gun, rope, or gear. The Cobratec 952 opens and retracts via its internal mechanism, making it fast and reliable in the field.
Yes. D2 is a tool steel prized for its edge retention and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for hunting, camping, and general outdoor work. It holds a sharp edge through tough cutting tasks and resists rust better than softer steels, though it does require some basic care in wet conditions.
Stonewashing is a finishing process that gives the blade a matte, textured appearance. Beyond aesthetics, it reduces glare (useful in hunting and tactical situations), masks scratches and wear, and gives the knife a practical, field-ready look.
OTF knife laws vary by state and locality. We recommend checking your local regulations before purchasing. Some states and jurisdictions restrict or prohibit OTF knives, while others allow them. Always verify your local knife laws.
