The Civivi Knives C907B Elementum is a compact folding knife built for everyday carry and fieldwork. With a 2.96-inch D2 steel blade ground in a tanto profile and finished stonewashed, it strikes a practical balance between cutting performance and size. The gray textured micarta handle spans 4.03 inches when open, giving you enough grip without bulk in your pocket or pack. This is a knife that works as hard as you do—whether you're camp cooking, processing game, or handling a dozen miscellaneous tasks around the homestead.
D2 steel holds an edge well and stands up to regular use, though it does require more frequent maintenance than stainless alternatives. The stonewashed finish hides marks and gives the blade a lived-in character that only improves with time. The tanto tip is stronger and more angular than a traditional drop point, making it ideal for piercing and detailed work. Civivi's design philosophy centers on delivering real-world usability at a price that doesn't require a second mortgage, and the Elementum proves that case.
The textured micarta scales provide confident grip in wet or gloved hands, and the folding design keeps the blade protected and the tool compact. If you want a no-nonsense everyday carry knife that cuts well and won't let you down, the Elementum deserves a hard look.

A tanto features a flatter edge that angles sharply to the tip, creating a stronger, more angular point. This geometry excels at piercing and detailed cutting work. Drop points curve continuously from spine to edge and are better suited to slicing and general-purpose tasks. The tanto's straighter edge also provides a longer cutting length along the spine.
D2 is an excellent blade steel for holding an edge and resisting wear. It's harder than most stainless options and will cut longer between sharpenings. The tradeoff is that D2 requires more frequent maintenance and is more prone to corrosion if neglected. For regular care-takers who don't mind a light oiling routine, D2 delivers strong performance.
Stonewashing creates a matte, textured surface that hides handling marks, dust, and light scratches. It's both aesthetic and practical—the blade looks equally at home after your first use and your hundredth, without showing every little ding. The finish also reduces glint in bright sunlight.
Yes. At 2.96 inches, the blade is compact enough to slip into any pocket without creating bulk, and the textured micarta handle provides secure grip even with gloves. The folding design keeps the edge protected and the knife legal to carry in most jurisdictions, making it an ideal companion for daily tasks, camp cooking, or field dressing game.
