The Civivi Knives C19046-3 Tamashii is a fixed blade knife built for hunters, anglers, campers, and anyone who needs a compact, hard-working tool that rides light in a pack or on a belt. This fixed-blade design pairs a 4.07-inch D2 steel blade with a 4.73-inch G10 handle, creating a balanced knife that's equally at home processing game, preparing camp meals, or handling utility tasks where a folding blade won't cut it. The plain edge blade is straightforward and reliable—no serrations to complicate maintenance or compromise edge geometry.
D2 steel brings serious edge retention to the Tamashii. It holds a sharp edge through extended use and resists corrosion better than basic carbon steel, making it a practical choice for field work where you might encounter moisture or brush. The stonewashed finish on the blade adds character while masking wear and minor handling marks that come naturally with outdoor use. The black textured G10 handle provides a secure, non-slip grip in wet conditions and delivers the kind of durability you expect from a tool that'll spend years in the field.
At just over 4 inches of blade, the Tamashii occupies a sweet spot—long enough for real cutting work, compact enough to pack efficiently or wear on a belt without bulk. The fixed back design means there's no folder mechanism to fail or maintain; the blade and handle are welded together as one solid unit. This is the kind of knife that works best when you stop overthinking the choice and just reach for it.

D2 is a tool steel that holds a sharp edge well and resists corrosion better than basic carbon steel. It's a popular choice for fixed-blade outdoor knives because it balances edge retention with practical field durability. You'll need to keep it dry and maintain the edge periodically, but it won't rust or fail under normal hunting, fishing, and camp conditions.
The 4.07-inch blade length and fixed design make it suitable for field dressing and processing. The plain edge and D2 steel will hold up to the work, though larger game processing tasks may call for a purpose-built butchering blade. It's a solid all-around hunting knife for camp prep and general utility.
Based on the product information provided, we can confirm the blade and handle specifications, but sheath inclusion is not listed in the available details. Contact us directly to confirm what's included with your purchase.
The stonewashed finish is cosmetic and functional—it masks wear, scratches, and minor corrosion marks that accumulate with regular use, so your knife looks lived-in rather than worn out. It doesn't change the cutting performance or durability of the D2 steel.
