Cimarron Firearms Co
The Cimarron Firearms P Model Dual Cylinder .45 LC/.45 ACP 4.75" revolver brings authentic Single Action Army styling to shooters who want versatility without compromise. Built as a faithful reproduction of the legendary 1873 design, this 4.75-inch-barrel sixgun lets you swap between .45 Colt and .45 ACP cylinders—a practical advantage for modern shooters with access to both cartridges. Whether you're running cowboy action matches, hunting, or just enjoying classic revolver shooting, the dual-cylinder setup eliminates the need to choose one caliber and stick with it.
Cimarron engineered this revolver from an original antique 1873 rather than relying solely on historical drawings, capturing period-correct details while incorporating their Cowboy Comp action to smooth out the quirks of 19th-century mechanics. The result is a gun that handles and shoots like a genuine Peacemaker but with improved reliability. The 4.75-inch barrel strikes the balance most shooters prefer—short enough for quick handling, long enough for acceptable sight radius and velocity. A post-1896 frame design positions the cylinder base pin retaining screw on the side of the frame in front of the cylinder, following the Pre-War configuration.
This is a working revolver, not a safe queen. The dual-cylinder .45 LC/.45 ACP setup appeals to serious handloaders, competition shooters, and anyone who appreciates the flexibility of running either round. If you want the romance of a 1873 with the practicality of modern ammunition options, the Cimarron P Model delivers both.
