Cimarron Firearms Co
The Cimarron Firearms Coel Malo 2 .357 Magnum revolver is a single-action six-shooter built on the proven 1873 Colt Single Action Army platform, refined for shooters who want classic cowboy action aesthetics with modern shootability. With a 3.5" barrel and manufactured by Pietta in Italy, this revolver delivers the balance of a true working gun—fast enough for sport shooting, controllable enough for deliberate accuracy, and handsome enough to turn heads at the range or in your collection.
The action tuning on the Coel Malo 2 sets it apart from rough-running replicas. You get a smooth, predictable trigger press and a low, wide competition-style hammer that breaks cleanly and sits forward of the hand without snagging. Those details matter when you're running stages or just enjoying a day of casual shooting. The single-action mechanism is straightforward and reliable—no surprises, no complications.
Grip comfort is serious business on a gun you'll shoot repeatedly, and Cimarron addressed that with a one-piece walnut grip that's hand-checkered for texture and control. A laser-carved Cimarron Rider logo marks it as the real deal. The checkering isn't just for looks; it keeps your hand planted during recoil and the natural feel of walnut beats plastic every time.
If you're into cowboy action shooting, Ruger-compatible single-action competition, or just want a .357 Magnum revolver that looks the part and shoots like it means it, the Coel Malo 2 is worth your serious attention.
