CHRISTENSEN ARMS
The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in 7mm Barren Dune is a lightweight precision rifle built for hunters who won't compromise on accuracy or pack weight. Chambered in 7mm with a 16.25-inch barrel, this rifle strips away excess mass without sacrificing the performance you need in the field. The FFT (Featherweight Technology) designation tells you everything: every component—from the carbon fiber wrapped barrel to the matching stock—has been engineered to cut weight while maintaining the rigidity and accuracy that serious hunters demand.
The heart of the Ridgeline is Christensen Arms' 416R stainless steel barrel, wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber and finished with hand-lapping and button rifling for match-grade chamber consistency. A removable stainless steel side baffle brake tames recoil without adding permanent bulk, and the free-floating design ensures barrel harmonics stay true shot after shot. The action is Christensen's precision-machined receiver paired with a TriggerTech trigger—a clean, predictable break you can trust on game. Threading is 5/8x24 (standard for 7mm), so muzzle device swaps are straightforward.
The stock is Christensen's FFT carbon fiber with carbon fiber bedding pillars and spot bedding to lock the action in place without excessive friction. An enlarged aluminum bolt knob, spiral fluted bolt, and improved bolt release make operation smooth and fast. The rifle ships with an internal magazine and aluminum hinged floor plate (4-round capacity in 7mm), but it's also compatible with AICS detachable magazines via an aftermarket conversion kit if you want more flexibility. The receiver accepts standard Remington 700 optics bases, so mounting your scope is plug-and-play.
This is a rifle for the hunter who counts every ounce on the mountain but refuses to leave accuracy or reliability behind. The 16.25-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity and portability, and the Barren Dune finish blends into high-desert and open-country terrain without drawing attention.

Christensen Arms' Featherweight Technology uses aerospace-grade carbon fiber in both the barrel wrap and stock, combined with a spiral fluted bolt and precision-machined receiver. This approach cuts weight without sacrificing rigidity or accuracy—the carbon fiber bedding pillars and spot bedding keep the action locked in place just as securely as traditional designs.
Yes, the stainless steel side baffle brake is removable. It's threaded 5/8x24, which is the standard pitch for 7mm rifles, so swapping brakes or adding suppressors is straightforward.
The Ridgeline FFT ships with an internal magazine and aluminum hinged floor plate. It is compatible with AICS detachable magazines, but you'll need an aftermarket conversion kit to make that work.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700 optics bases, so you can mount virtually any modern scope base and ring combination without modification.
