CARLSON'S
The Carlsons Core Benelli Crio/Crio Plus 12 gauge close range choke tube is engineered for shooters who need reliable, versatile performance whether you're working doves over water, pushing through a pheasant thicket, or breaking clays at the range. This Close Range/Improved Cylinder constriction sits at the tighter end of open chokes, designed to deliver consistent patterns from 5 to 20 yards with lead loads and 15 to 30 yards with steel—making it the go-to tube when birds are close and you need a forgiving spread. Built as part of Carlsons' CORE Series, it balances affordability with no-compromise quality, giving hunters and shooters a choke that won't let them down in the field or on the course.
The Close Range tube accepts a genuinely impressive range of shot types: lead, steel, bismuth, Tungsten/TSS, Matrix loads, Duplex loads, and blends, as well as Hevi-Shot. That flexibility means you're not locked into one ammunition choice—swap shot types to match conditions or game without swapping tubes. The choke is laser-etched with its constriction rating and range, and Carlsons prints a straightforward yardage chart right on the packaging so you can make smart decisions about pattern and distance before you step into the field.
This tube threads directly into Benelli Crio and Crio Plus shotguns. Note that slugs run safely only through the Close Range/Improved Cylinder constriction—not through the Mid-Range or Long Range tubes in the lineup. If your hunting involves a mix of shot and slug, confirm your setup before heading out.
