The Carlson's 12GA SKT Sporting Clays Choke Tube for Benelli shotguns is purpose-built for shooters who demand tighter, more consistent patterns in the field or on the course. If you're running a Benelli 12-gauge and want to optimize your shot placement for clay work, this choke tube delivers the precision engineering that separates reliable scoring from frustration. Unlike standard chokes, Carlson's invests in the details: 17-4 stainless construction, precision machining, and a design philosophy that prioritizes pattern density where it matters.
The real advantage here is the geometry. Carlson's expanded the parallel section of the choke by 25% compared to conventional designs, which translates to more uniform shot strings and tighter clusters downrange. That longer parallel section also means you'll see denser patterns than typical flush-mount chokes—a meaningful edge when you're breaking clays at distance. The knurled end grips your fingers easily for fast changes between stations, and the laser-marked constriction marking leaves no guesswork about what you've got installed.
Shot versatility is handled too. This tube runs lead, steel, copperplated, nickel, and Hevi-Shot loads without issue. One caveat: steel shot larger than BB should stay out of Full Constriction or tighter, so plan your load selection accordingly. Carlson's backs the tube with a lifetime warranty, which speaks to the confidence they have in the build quality.

Yes, you can use steel shot. However, steel shot larger than BB should not be used in Full Constriction or tighter chokes.
Carlson's design features a 25% larger parallel section, which throws tighter and more consistent patterns than conventional choke tubes. The extended parallel section also produces denser patterns compared to flush-mount options.
Yes—the knurled end is designed for quick hand removal and installation, and the laser-marked constriction lets you identify your choke at a glance.
