The CARL Choke Tube in Full constriction is purpose-built for 12-gauge sporting clays competition and practice. Engineered for Beretta and Benelli shotguns, this choke tube delivers the tighter, more consistent patterns clay shooters demand when targets break at distance. Unlike standard choke tubes, the CARL features a 25% larger parallel section in its constriction, which translates to denser, more uniform shot placement downrange—a real advantage when you're running a course of fire or pushing your personal best.
Built from 17-4 stainless steel and precision machined to tight tolerances, the CARL is tough enough for the volume of shooting that competitive clay work demands. The knurled end makes swaps between tubes quick and hassle-free in the field, and the laser-marked constriction marking on the end lets you confirm your setup at a glance. Whether you're running Skeet, Sporting, or Five Stand, a reliable Full choke in your rotation pays dividends when you need tighter patterns.
The CARL will handle lead shot, steel shot, copperplated shot, nickel shot, Hevi-Shotshells, and buckshot—though Carlson's recommends avoiding steel shot larger than BBS in any Full constriction or tighter tube. Because of that longer parallel section compared to flush-mount designs, expect this tube to throw noticeably denser patterns, which is exactly what you want when Full constriction is your call.

The CARL's 25% larger parallel section throws tighter, denser patterns than standard choke tubes, and produces noticeably denser patterns than flush-mount designs due to its longer parallel section.
The knurled end allows quick, tool-free removal. You can unscrew and install it by hand without wrenches or specialized tools.
